It was a bright sunny day.
It was so warm, I only put on 3 layers instead of my normal 4.
I loaded the bike and got lights on, although, it was so bright out you couldn't really see them.
I got a couple pictures in the garage before I headed out.
I first went to Primeland to fill up the bike. A gentleman pulled up to the other side of the pump and asked a few questions and then mentioned that there was already a good number of bikes gathered at our starting point (Lancer Lanes). Once topped off, I made my way over.
I noticed Art right away, after parking and said hello.
He was in a conversation with someone else, so I began to meandor through the bikes getting a couple pictures of some nice/interesting paint jobs.
After I looped around one side of the parking lot, ariving back at my bike, Art came up and we chatted for a bit. He then headed off to catch up with someone else, and I headed for a loop around the other side of the parking lot.
I found this VTX 1800 decked out with a pink and blue stick horse mounted on each fork and a big flag with tinsel around the pole mounted on the back.
I tried to get a couple photos of the group, but it's hard to really get a picture the shows the real size of the group.
As we ride through Clarkston and then Lewiston, people come out to wave. At the top of Bryden Canyon, off the left side of the road, there was a man with two little girls watching the group. I was almost past them when it clicked that I knew them. Levi had brought out two of his girls to watch. They seemed to be enjoying the show.
Once at the Salvation Army, we followed the line in and dropped off the toys as usual. Making our way into the kitchen area, we got a little snacks and made our way back into the parking lot.
Another good ride for a good cause.
